QuickMove Patient Transfer Aid
The QuickMove Patient Transfer Aid supports and activates the user when rising to a standing position and during transfers: either standing to sitting, from bed to chair, or to and from the toilet. It has been developed for patients with impaired balance or minimal strength in their legs, however the users must have some strength in their arms to actively participate in the transfer.
Safeguarding and Strengthening the User
Providing a more secure sit-to-stand procedure for both patient and carer, the QuickMove contributes to safeguarding and strengthening the user's abilities. This device is suitable for both long-term and occasional needs, for example, in post-operative care when a patient's balance is temporarily impaired.
Features of the QuickMove Patient Transfer Aid
- Small and convenient transfer devices
- Stimulates a natural movement pattern
- Adjustable seat cushions can be angled as desired
- Adjustable base and lower leg support
- Accessories for extra support and security are available
Supportive and Stable
When the user has risen using their own strength, the caregiver folds down the cushions behind the buttocks to provide a stable support, giving the user the option to remain standing or to be seated during the transfer. The support of the seat cushions and the knee brace facilitate a very stable and safe transfer.
Combination Devices
To create optimal solutions for patients with different needs, the QuickMove can be used in conjunction with a manner of different manual transfer aids. The BackSupport Belt, for example, is an accessory which can be used as a torso side support to provide extra stability and security for users during transfers.
