How Does the Pump Work?

The Repose Spare Pump works like your average hand pump, allowing you to pump air into the inflatable pressure relief cushion or overlay with minimal exertion. This manual hand pump ensures you retain full control of how much air you are pumping into your Repose, with air sucking into the pump as you pull it up, and then air being pushed down into the inflatable cushion when you push the pump down.

What Are the Benefits of Smart Valve Technology?

Patented Smart Valve technology automatically closes when the Repose internal pressure reaches 0.2psi. Extensive use has demonstrated 0.2psi to be optimal for pressure redistribution and clinical efficacy, and this Smart Valve technology exhausts excess air for maximum patient support, comfort and clinical benefit, while providing reassurance that Repose has not been be overinflated or underinflated.
