Ideal for use in splints, gloves and footwear, the Rolyan Clear Skin-Protection Gel Padding utilises a protective gel-padding barrier to prevent skin-breakdown and ensure patients are as comfortable as possible.

How to Use the Rolyan Gel Padding

The Rolyan Clear Gel Padding can be easily cut to size from the sheet material using dressing scissors. Once you have a correct size for what you're using the padding for, simply apply it underneath splints or inside gloves and footwear to protect the skin from irritation. It's also suggested to use talcum powder to reduce residue and surgical tape to seal the padding once applied.

Please Note: The Rolyan Gel Padding is designed for a single-use purpose. While it can be cleaned by wiping, it does not support multiple uses on different patients.

Diffuses and Distributes Pressure

The Rolyan Gel Padding's design helps to reduce pressure inside splints, gloves and footwear by dispersing and distributing it. This works through the gel moving freely inside the padding to ensure areas in contact are evenly supported and protected. The padding has also been designed to not bottom out, helping to reduce skin shear and irritation at source.

What Sized Padding is Available?

The Skin Padding is available in sheets measuring 250 x 340m. These are available in three thicknesses:

• 3.2mm
• 4.8mm
• 6.4mm

This product is usually dispatched via Royal Mail and delivery should be within 1 to 3 working days.

Delivery is free for orders over £65 (ex VAT) to UK mainland addresses. For all other UK orders, delivery is only £4.95 (ex VAT).
