Created for those with sensitive skin who may be at higher risk of skin breakdown, the 7cm thick Classic XS cushion features a top layer of specially engineered honeycomb fused to two bottom layers. The compliant honeycomb cells contour to body shape, enabling bony protuberances to freely sink into the cushion while supporting surrounding anatomy, making it the perfect cushion to prevent pressure sores for those with sensitive skin.
Should I Choose the Classic or Sling Version?
Your choice of the Classic or Sling option will depend on the wheelchair you intend to use the cushion in. Wheelchairs with firm seats will require the Classic cushion, while wheelchairs with sling or canvas seats will require the Sling version, which features a curved bottom to provide added stability.
How Does the Classic XS Cushion Provide Moisture Control?

How Does StimuLite Honeycomb Work?
StimuLite cushions are made with a soft, flexible form of aerospace honeycomb that has 'memory', is lightweight, and distributes weight evenly along its surface. Its cellular matrix consists of alternating thick and thin walled cells that flex when compressed to relieve pressure. When a user sits on a StimuLite cushion, the compressed cells radiate outwards to surround and support the anatomy, self-adjusting to each individual and providing excellent stability.
