Replacement Electrode Pads for the MamaTens TENS Machine

Electrode pads are a must for ensuring the MamaTens Machine can provide you with pain relief during labour, therefore having spares around is a good idea. The extra-large design of these pads ensure maximum pain relief is possible during childbirth, while their integrated leads ensure safety and hygiene.

Please Note: These electrode pads are intended for one use only and should be disposed after labour.

How Do I Apply the Tenscare Electrode Pads?

Before applying the TensCare electrode pads, be sure to wash the skin with warm soapy water to remove any dirt, oil or creams that may be present on the skin, as the presence of oils and debris can degrade electrode pads and cause problems with adhesion. For application and removal be sure turn off the TENS unit beforehand each time. You may peel the electrodes gently from the corner, but do not pull on the wire.

Storage Advice

The electrode pads are water-based and may dry out. Between uses, they should be stored on the plastic shield in their resealable bag and kept in a cool place out of direct sunlight.

What Can Be Done if the Electrode Pads Do Dry Out?

Should an electrode pad become dry, either spray the gel side with a fine mist of water, or apply a drop of water to the gel side and spread around with fingertip. Leave the electrode for about 10 minutes until it recovers its tackiness.
