What Makes the Unicare Pelvic Floor Trainer Different?
Similar to other TensCare Pelvic Floor Trainers, the Unicare is able to effectively treat a range of incontinence issues with continued use. What sets it apart, however, is the addition of a new programme that offers drug-free relief from menstrual pain. This programme saves the need to look for additional treatment methods or devices for treating period pain, offering you an all-in-one pelvic floor device.
What Conditions Specifically Can the Unicare Pelvic Floor Device Treat?
Those who experience the following will find a long-term solution in the Unicare Pelvic Exerciser:
- Urinary and faecal incontinence: including stress, urge and mixed
- Post prostatectomy urinary incontinence in men
- Sexual/erectile dysfunction
- Period pain:
- Primary and secondary dysmenorrhea due to conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids or pelvic inflammatory disease
What Programmes Are Available?
To provide treatment, the Unicare offers a total of five programmes to suit the treatment you require. Three programmes on the device will cover each type of incontinence mentioned above, another programme will tone the pelvic floor muscles, and a final programme will help provide menstrual pain relief.
How Does This Pelvic Floor Toner Work?
Once the unit is switched on and set to the desired programme, the Unicare works by sending a tiny electrical current to the nerves in the area, stimulating the muscles in order to contract. With continued daily use the device helps strengthen muscles which will help with incontinence issues, menstrual pain, and even enhance sexual well-being.
Is the Unicare Device for Women Only?
No, as this device comes with the choice of an anal probe as well as a vaginal probe, this allows the device to be used by men for anal stimulation. Men who are experiencing faecal incontinence and erectile dysfunction may use this pelvic floor trainer for treatment.
