How Does a Neck Collar Help?
If a patient is suffering from neck pain for any reason, a neck brace is a great way to relieve that pain and prevent further injury after the first signs of pain. The neck brace acts as a precautionary measure to protect the neck from further damage until it can be properly examined by a healthcare professional.
Can I Wear the Neck Brace During Examinations?
Made from X-ray translucent materials, the Thuasne Ortel Neck brace can be worn during MRI, CT or x-ray scans. This allows the patient to have full support and protection during a thorough assessment, where you will find the best solution for the problem.
How Comfortable Is the Thuasne Ortel T-Neck Collar?
With a design that's nice and lightweight, the Thuasne Ortel T-Neck Collar sits snuggly on the shoulders without weighing the patient down. Foam lining within the collar prevents it from rubbing uncomfortably against the skin, and provides a soft cushion for all-day comfort.
