To reduce the risk of such complications and improve patient comfort, the Treat-Eezi Pressure Relief Heel Rest has three layers of padding which shape to the heels of the foot to alleviate areas of pressure, while an additional top layer glides over the inner padding to simultaneously combat friction injuries.

This heel rest can reduce the risk of heel sores or other friction and pressure-related complications in patients who must lie down for long periods of time. By combining a triple layer of padding and a top layer of slippery material, the pad can relieve downward pressure as well as shear force on the heels, enabling better blood flow to the peripheral arteries.
