Provides Versatile Therapy
When used with this swing, the Vestibulator II System provides vertical stimulation, direct flexion, linear acceleration, rotational experiences, and complete range of motion exercises. It also incorporates a 360° vertical rotation system for a smooth, unrestricted range of movement.
This allows for the creation of both vertical and rotational stimulation at the same time. Since the platform of this swing is extra long, it provides additional possible positions and therapeutic options for the therapist.
Easy and Safe Swinging
The Tumble Forms 2 Deluxe Vestibulator II System has a height adjustment assembly, which allows quick changes to the position of the system. The mechanism can be fixed in a stable position or set for swinging, allowing for varied and safe movements. As with all of the system's accessories, this platform swing is lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and made with hygienic, forgiving materials.
Extra Swing Width
This swing is made with a large size and extra-wide width of 1524mm to accommodate all users and allow for many different positions. This size allows children to safely make reactive movements to develop muscle tone and co-ordination.
How Does Swinging Help Child Development?
Swinging helps improve children's gross motor skills and fine motor skills, as well as helping to develop their muscles and coordination. It's also a great natural way to reduce their stress and anxiety. See below for the full list of benefits of using a swing for your child's development:
- Gross motor skills: swinging helps to develop gross motor skills such as kicking legs, running, and jumping.
- Fine motor skills: swinging helps children develop their hand, arm, and finger coordination as well as grip strength
- Improved coordination and balance: swinging helps children build the muscles required for their balance, coordination, and spatial awareness
- Sensory stimulation: the repetitive motion of swinging back and forth can support sensory integration and processing
- Emotional regulation: the rhythmic motion of swinging can calm and regulate the nervous system and help to reduce stress and anxiety
