What Is The Function Of the Adjustable Rail?

The EZ Adjustable Bed Rail fits onto the side of most bed types, and is designed for fall prevention purposes. The extendable and sturdy rail is the perfect safety tool for those who have limited mobility or are bed-bound, and may not be able to get up without support were they to fall.

It also offers a supportive aid for light movements, e.g., from a lying to seated position. Please note that it is advised that the bed rail is only used for this sort of movement support when it is at its shortest length.

How Do I Install the Bed Rail?

The EZ Adjustable Bed Rail is designed for use with box spring, slatted, and platform beds. It features mattress grippers and a strap for securing to your bed, and is installed as follows:

1. Begin by sliding your bed rail underneath your mattress, ensuring that the mattress grippers have been proper installed first
2. Unbuckle and pull the safety strap to the opposite side of the bed. Part of the strap should be pulled under the mattress, while the other part should be pulled under the bed frame
3. Once the strap has been looped around the bed frame, re-buckle and tighten it to secure the rail to your bed
4. Ensure that the bed rail is snug against the mattress, and at least 12.5" in distance from the headboard
