Unlike other cryotherapy compression systems, this IC cooler uses both gravity and motorised therapy for increased flexibility during treatment. The device features an integrated pump with the cooler lid that provides a 45 second 'on' and a 30 second 'off' cycle of automated compression and cold therapy.

Automatic and Gravity-Fed System
The Automatic Cold Therapy IC Cooler Unit is designed to be as flexible to use as possible. Using both an automatic and gravity-fed system, the unit provides cold and compression therapy to your elbow. The unit is crafted with an integrated pneumatic pump within the cooler lid so the device does not have to be continually adjusted during treatment.

How Do I Use the Cryo/Cuff?
For information on how to prepare, apply and use the Cryo/Cuff, please follow these four simple steps:
Step One: Prepare the Cooler
Before using the cuff, you must prepare the cooler by filling water to the line and topping with ice. Connect the blue tube to the cooler and place the insulation disk on top of the ice before closing the lid. Wait for approximately five minutes for the water to chill, shaking the cooler occasionally.
Step Two: Apply the Cuff
Position the cuff with the quick disconnect valve facing down and secure using the straps provided. (See figure 1).
Insert arm and slide the cuff over the elbow into place. (See figure 2).
Step Three: Fill the Cuff
Connect the blue tube to the cuff. Raise the cooler no more than fifteen inches above the cuff and allow fifteen seconds for the cuff to fill. (See figure 3).
Place the cooler on a stable surface, the base of the cooler should be level with the cuff. Plug the cooler into a power supply and turn on by connecting the cord to the lid.
Step Four: Refill Cooler
To refill after use, unplug the cooler and repeat step one.

How Long Can I Use the Cryo/Cuff for with Each Treatment?
You can use the cuff for up to two hours per therapy session. It is recommended that you give a period of at least twenty minutes between each session to allow for patient recovery.
Should I Cover My Skin While Using the Cryo/Cuff?
Yes, you must wrap the skin with a cloth, bandage or something similar before using the cuff. At no point during treatment should the skin and cuff be in direct contact. This is to avoid risk of further injury such as skin burn.
