Aircast Cold Therapy Calf Cryo/Cuff
An injury to your calf can range from a slight twinge to a muscle tear that puts your entire body out of action. Cold compression therapy ensures you get back on your feet as soon as possible and that injuries like sprains and tears don't worsen.
There's nothing available on the market that's better for cold compression therapy than the Aircast Cold Therapy Calf Cryo/Cuff. Designed to utilise localised cold and compression, the Aircast Calf Cryo/Cuff connects to a separately sold cooler unit to soothe swelling and promote bloodflow to the affected area.
What's Included?

How Do I Use the Cryo/Cuff?
For a step-by-step guide on how to use the cuff, please see below:
Step One: Prepare Cooler
Fill the cooler with water and add ice to the top. Connect the blue tube and position the insulation disk on top of the ice before closing the lid. Allow five minutes for the water to chill, shaking the cooler occasionally.
Step Two: Apply the Cuff
Position the cuff around the calf and fasten, feeding the thread straps through the white rings to secure. (See figure 1).
Step Three: Fill Cuff
Connect the blue tube to the cooler, opening the cooler air vent. Raise the cooler no more than 15 inches above the cuff and hold for around thirty seconds while the cuff fills with water and close the cooler air vent. Disconnect the cuff from the cooler by pressing the metal tab to use cuff independently. (See figure 2).
Step Four: Rechill Water
Reconnect the blue tube to the cuff, holding the cuff above the cooler to allow it to drain. Allow two minutes for the water to rechill. Raise the cooler and repeat the filling process.
For more information on how to use the cuff, please see the manual below:
How Long Should I Use the Cryo/Cuff For?
You can use the cuff for up to two hours per session. We recommend that you leave at least twenty minutes between treatments and that you correctly manage your use time based on professional medical advice relative to your condition.
Do I Need to Protect My Skin During Treatment?
Yes, we recommend that you wrap the skin of the affected area loosely with a cloth or bandage before use, to create a barrier between the cuff and skin. At no point should the cuff be in direct contact with the skin.
How Do I Clean the Cryo/Cuff?
To clean, drain the cuff of water and wash with soap and hot water. Repeat this a few times before cleaning with hot water only.
Rinse completely and leave to dry. This process can be used to clean both the cooler and the tube.
