Cardinal Health Protexis Latex Micro Sterile Powder Free Surgical Gloves
The Cardinal Health Protexis Latex Micro Sterile Powder Free Surgical Gloves are tan sterile surgical gloves made with natural rubber latex and are recommended for general surgery.
These gloves are classified as a Class IIa Medical Device.
Natural Rubber Latex Gloves
Made from natural rubber latex, the gloves contain <11μg/dm² water-extractable protein. Additionally, the Protexis Latex Micro gloves also feature a smooth grip and are extra thin to provide increased tactile sensitivity – 0.17mm at the fingers – making them suitable for neurosurgery, eye surgery and more. They can even be used as an outer glove when double-gloving.
Powder-Free
The gloves are supplied powder-free, helping to reduce the chance of powder-related skin irritation occurring as well as limiting post-operative complications associated with granulomas.
Triple-Dip Coating
To make the Protexis Latex Micro gloves easier to use and wear, they are made using a triple-dip coating which combines latex and nitrile. This integration of materials makes the gloves incredibly easy to don, as well as improving strength and helping to reduce latex exposure.
