The material of this model is robust to ensure it is capable for long-term use, however once the skin has eventually been worn out, replacement parts can be bought separately. As the model can be practiced on over and over again, it is ideal for group training in which students can each practice taking turns.

Development of the Skin Suture Trainer

This skin suture trainer was developed in co-operation with Dr Sarah Koenig, associate professor, surgical skills lab, dept. for general and visceral surgery, University Medicine Goettingen.
