What Does the OneWayGlide Positioning Pad Do?
The Immedia Non-Slip Pad allows easy sliding in one direction, whilst resisting sliding in the other direction. The user stays in a correct seating position and stops accidental movement. This reduces shear and friction, which can cause sores and pressure injuries. There is also a risk of this when a patient is being manually handled by a carer and the OneWayGlide helps to prevent that as well.

How Do I Use the OneWayGlide Cushion?
Using the Immedia OneWayGlide eases repositioning when the user slides forward in the wheelchair. To move backwards in the wheelchair, the user must lean forward, hold the armrest and push toward the backrest using their arms and legs. Once upright again, the unique design of the cushion will prevent sliding forward.

Cleaning Instructions
- This sheet set can be wiped clean with a cloth
- Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 80°C
- Can be cleaned with a solvent-free cleaning agent with a pH level between 5–9, or with a 70% disinfectant solution
- Do not dry-clean or bleach this item
- Do not use fabric softener
- After each wash the pad should be checked for damage to seems or fabric
