Etac SatinSheet Fitted 2D Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet
It is important that partially independent patients are offered the tools to retain as much independence as possible. Designed with a low-friction centre, the Etac SatinSheet Fitted 2D Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet is designed to facilitate easy movement in bed. Whilst the top half features non-slip borders to prevent falling, the lower section is fully low-friction to enable patients to slide easily in and out of bed.

Does the Etac 2D Maxi Sheet Reduce Friction?
The Etac Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet is a traditional base sheet with a slide area that covers the full length of the bed. This means that the patient can simply lie directly on the sheet with little concern about their position. The sheet also helps reduce friction between the bedding and nightwear to prevent chafing and pain during the day while also reducing the risk of pressure sores and ulcers.
How Can the Low-Friction Panel Help Me?
This sheet includes a low-friction satin area in the centre to allow turning in bed, which reaches the full length of the bed. The top half of the sheet features cotton and polyester borders to prevent falling and allow patients to sit on the edge of the bed. The lower half of the sheet is borderless, allowing independent users to slide their legs in and out of bed.
Care Instructions
The Etac 2D Two Direction Maxi Base Sheet is suitable for machine washing at 80°C. Please note that fabric softener or bleach should not be used on this product. The sheet can be tumble dried but should not be dry cleaned, and is suitable for ironing on a low heat.
