What Kind of Alert Is Received?
The alert sent wirelessly to the pager is received as either an audible tone or a silent vibration. This means you can rely on a tone if you work in a quieter environment, or you can utilise the vibration if your surroundings are noisy or if you are working late at night, preventing other patients from being disturbed.
How Many Door Sensors Can Be Connected to a Pager?
Each pager can be used with up to 8 door/window alarms. Please note, however, that the pager will only inform you that an alarm has been triggered, it does not distinguish between different sensors.
What is the Range of the Wireless Alarm Kit?
The Wireless Door Alarm and Pager have a range of up to 100m in a completely open plan environment. However, obstacles like concrete walls, stair and doors will affect the signal cut down the effective range. The thickness of these obstacles will also affect signal strength.
How Long Will the Batteries Last?
The batteries provided should last around six months. This ensures you don't need to constantly worry about replacing the batteries, and the low-battery indicator will give you plenty of warning when they need to be changed.
