The SIBA sliding aid is intended to enable safe and effective in-bed positioning of patients by carers. This combination pack can save you money on both the bottom and top components of the system, however the SIBA base sheet is available on its own, and can be used by individuals who are mostly independent, but find turning in bed a little difficult.

Do These Sliding Aids Enable Movement In All Directions?

The top draw sheet of this sliding aid enables movement in four different directions, as indicated by its checkmarks. This means it can move patients from side to side or up and down along the bed and can also be used to turn or swivel them. It should properly support the entire body of most adult patients (those 6.5ft or below).
