TopSheet Small Positioning Aid

The TopSheet Small Positioning Aid is used for incontinent, bedridden users who must be turned often. It is excellent when you need to hold a heavy user in a lateral position, for instance when assisting with personal hygiene or dressing wounds. The TopSheet is also suitable when a nervous user in palliative care needs turning, as the process is calm and gentle and the load is spread over the entire body area.

The TopSheet is to be placed on top of TurnSheet, WendyLett2Way or WendyLett4Way Sliding Sheets depending on the risk assessment.

Features of the TopSheet Small Positioning Aid

• Super-absorbent surface material absorbs body fluids
• Consists of two parts, the lower of which is easy to change
• Strong straps and clips for attachment around the sling bar or in the bed rail
• The surface under the user is soft and gentle for maximum comfort
• Moisture barrier on the reverse prevents moisture from being transferred to sheets and mattress

Superior Absorbent Properties

The Small TopSheet is made of a super absorbent material which makes it very practical for incontinent users. The underside has a PU-coated moisture-resistant membrane that prevents moisture from spreading further down to the sheets and mattress. The surface always feels dry and is comfortable to lay on, which also aids in the prevention of pressure sores.

Care Instructions for the TopSheet Positioing Aid

The TopSheet Small Positioing Aid should be washed in 90°C water and tumble-dried at low to medium temperature. Low temperature for tumble-drying is 45 - 50°C. Do not use rinse aid or fabric softener and avoid tumble-drying at high temperatures for optimal service life. The TopSheet should not be ironed.
