What is the Erler-Zimmer 'Chester' Chest Difficult Accessing Insert (R18803C)?
The Erler-Zimmer 'Chester' Chest Difficulty Accessing Insert (R18803C) is a tissue insert for the 'Chester' Chest Manikin. When used in conjunction with the recessed R18803A insert and placed over the port, the Difficulty Accessing Insert (R18803C) simulates a 'deeply placed' device when accessed through the overlying outer tissue.
How Do I Use the 'Chester' Chest Difficult Accessing Insert?
The Difficult Accessing Insert (R18803C) should be placed in the upper left-hand corner of the manikin. This piece is placed over the top of the port, with the chest tissue flap then placed over the R18803C insert. Best results using the R18803C insert are experienced when the Difficult Accessing Insert R18803A is used in the recessed area under the port.
Additional Difficult Accessing Inserts
The 'Chester' Chest Difficult Accessing Insert R18803C is one of three inserts designed for use with the 'Chester' Chest Manikin. We also have the Difficult Accessing Insert R18803A available which simulates a 'wandering' or 'floating' port, as well as the Difficult Accessing Insert R18803B which simulates a 'tipping' port. The inserts may be used alone or in conjunction to simulate various difficult accessing scenarios.
