The Aircast Cryo/Cuff is the rehabilitation industries leading cryotherapy recovery device for treating knee and ankle injuries. Whether you're recovering following knee replacement surgery or you're looking for an athletic edge after intense exercise, DJO have got you covered.

What Does an Aircast Cooler System Do?

Compatible with the full range of Aircast Cryo/Cuff rehabilitation products, both coolers work by circulating the cold water generated in the tank up through the attached hose system and into your Cryo/Cuff. Capable of keeping water cold for up to four hours without the need for refilling, both coolers are capable of providing an incredible, unique brand of cryotherapy-based rehabilitation.

But which one is right for you?

Comparing Both Cryo/Cuff Coolers

If you're after a basic brand of cryotherapy treatment that covers the entire joint, the Standard Aircast Cooler Unit will suffice. If however, you want to take your rehabilitation to the next level and really accelerate your recovery, there's no beating the intermittent compressive healing power of the Aircast Automatic Unit.

The Last Word

Whilst both Aircast Coolers provide a quality cold-therapy style rehabilitation, the Automatic Cooler is Aircast's premium cooler for a reason. The inclusion of intermittent compression and an automated motor system really bolster and accelerate recovery times, as there is no match for a combination of cold-exposure and compression therapies.

If you're buying on a budget, aside from the above features, there's not much the Automatic Cooler can do that the standard can't. If you're buying for a knee-replacement, hip replacement or if you're recovering from a serious injury, we'll always recommend the Automatic Unit as the compression factor is a real game changer for reducing swelling.
